Carly Fiorina: Empowering Female Conservatives

Carly Fiorina changed the game for female conservatives, nervous to defend their ideology in a world screaming “war on women.”

She has given life to the female conservative movement and has ushered in a new voice in feminism.

Before I heard Carly speak for the first time, I had never heard a female conservative speaker that resonated with me. The Sarah Palin’s and Michelle Bauchman’s of the world didn’t fit my shade of conservative. I wanted a female conservative role model that I could take seriously, that had poise and class…and along came Carly Fiorina.

Carly Fiorina, with her unapologetic truths, has proven that feminine can be powerful and intelligent, and can also be conservative.

With Carly exiting the 2016 presidential race, it’s only right to recognize how influential she has been while making her political splash.

Thank you Carly Fiorina, for proving to women everywhere that with hard work and a good moral compass, we can rise to the top of our profession. That we do not need to submit to victimhood because of our gender. That we can–like Carly– go from secretary to CEO, to running for the presidency of our great nation.

“Carly is the Beyoncé of politics!”

Thank you, Carly Fiorina, for being one of the only loud, reasonable voices out there for feminism. Intertwining our conservative principles within the craziness that is the feminist conversation today has shed great light on what it truly means to be a feminist. Thank you for encouraging women to define themselves and to not be boxed in by their gender. And thank you for squashing the notion that the liberal ideology has a monopoly on women.

Thank you, Carly Fiorina, for standing up against liberal female talking points, like that it’s anti-women to be pro-life, the wage gap, and paid maternity leave. And thank you taking on some of the biggest perpetrators in the process, like the women on The View. Carly’s courage in these situations is commendable, but not as awe inspiring as her poise and grace shown during these interactions. Carly never made women out to be victims, but empowered us with facts against misleading statistics.

I remember my friend Jen exclaiming, after hearing Carly speak for the first time: Carly is the Beyoncé of politics!

She is right. Carly is unafraid, empowered, groundbreaking, and strong. She is bold, unapologetic and intelligent.

Thank you, Carly, for leading the national conservative conversation on life, fiscal responsibility, and citizen’s involvement. Thank you for showing us what a female leader looks like.

Although Carly will not be our next president, her impact will be felt and remembered for generations, especially by female conservatives!
