As we approach the Independence day celebration in America, we reflect on our liberty and our heritage as a nation. On MilLiberty this week, Caleb tells a story of a time in our history when liberty was in crisis. It was only 100 years ago that you could be imprisoned for telling our story of independence in total accuracy. Under President Wilson, the Bill of Rights rarely faced a greater challenge.
This story or liberty in crisis reviewed on the show is not only fascinating but comes with many lessons for the modern day. Wilson’s laws may not entirely be intact today, but his ideology is alive and well. This Independence Day, we should reflect on the ideas of liberty so that they are preserved for generations to come.
