Most are somewhat familiar with the atrocities that occurred under the rule of Hitler. A fair number are even at least familiar with the genocide committed under Stalin. But only a few today know of the horrors that occurred under the regime of Mao Zedong, the world’s deadliest authoritarian ruler.
